The West End is surrounded Point Defiance Park, Vassault Park, Highlands Golf Course, Kandle Park (and the wave pool!) the town of Ruston, the Ferry to Vashon Island, and Titlow Beach.

In the summer you can hit the wave pool at Kandle Park, play tennis at Vassault Park, or head down North Pearl to the waterfront and walk along Owen Beach. Or Titlow Beach. Play a round of Golf at the Highlands Golf Course. Or take the Ferry to Vashon Island. When it comes to enjoying the best that Tacoma has to offer this is one of the best places to do it from.
