The South End has several local business districts including the Lincoln International District and the Fern Hill Business District. Pacific Avenue and all of the accompanying businesses also runs through the South End.
From parks to restaurants to bars, Tacoma’s South End has plenty of local faves to offer residents. Walking or jogging around recently restored Wapato Lake Park is a joy in all four seasons. Picking season at Charlotte’s Blueberry Park runs from July to September each year and is fun for everyone.
Some of the best food in the city is located in the South End, including Vien Dong in the Lincoln District and Vuelve a la Vida on 6th Avenue. Fern Hill boasts Little Jerry’s, a Seinfeld-themed breakfast joint.
