Parkland is most famous for being the home of Pacific Lutheran University. Located just off highway 5-12 where the southernmost city limits of Tacoma meet Spanway between Puyallup and Lakewood. Take a walk and enjoying the beautiful campus of Pacific Lutheran University. Wander down Garfield Street and check out the local shops. The best italian food in Pierce County is located in Parkland on Garfield Street at Marzano's Italian Restaurant. The pasta boscaiola will change your life.
