Federal Way is right next to Northeast Tacoma. It’s as close as you can get to Tacoma while still being in King County. One of the great things about Federal Way is its centralized location. Depending where in Federal way you live, you’re 30 minutes from Tacoma and 30 minutes from Seattle. You’re also only about 20 minutes to SeaTac International Airport.
How much does it cost to buy a house in Federal Way?
Federal Way has the most affordable home prices in King County. If you want to buy, say, a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home, you can expect to spend $400-$500k.
What is there to do in Federal Way?
Federal Way is home to golf courses, Dash Point State Park, great entertainment options (and access to a huge variety of entertainment options in Tacoma and Seattle), The Commons Mall, plus it’s also right on the water.
