About This Episode

Carrie Akre is a musician best known for her work with Seattle bands Hammerbox and Goodness. She moved to Seattle in 1985 and moved around to several different neighborhoods. In 2011 she, her husband, and their son moved to Minneapolis. After a few years, they decided to come back only to find that Seattle's tech scene had exploded and the prices had skyrocketed. After a year in West Seattle, Carrie and her family decided to move to Tacoma. Carrie discovered the different neighborhoods and hidden gems of Tacoma.
